The e-Olympics is an integrated online-learning training program developed by the JISC Regional Support Centre for Scotland North and East. Aimed at front-line lecturing staff of further or higher education subjects, the programme is designed to guide participants through the stages involved in planning, constructing, resourcing and delivering a learning sequence in their own teaching areas.
The Learner Driver
If you missed the Learner Driver Conference on 31st May, or were there but would like to do it all again, we have made the audio and video of our keynote presentations available online. If you’d like to hear Carol Twigg (National Centre for Academic Transformation), Bill Harvey (Scottish Funding Council) and John Stone (Learning & Skills Network) speaking for themselves, download the videos or MP3 files (along with PowerPoint slides) from the website’s media section.
Step Aboard the Image Engine
As the skills base which underlies the creation of online learning materials matures it is clear that one essential feature of attractive interactive pages is access to high quality digital images. The Image Engine is a new initiative to train College staff in the acquisition, preparation and storage of images and – more importantly – the creative use of these images in their teaching
Map2Learn was a guided programme by the RSC, which lead participants through the theory and practice of using and preparing their own online learning materials. It was a methodology, which leads to achievable goals and consistent quality results.
